Zaxel Video Servers and Applications
Zaxel's digital video system's uniqueness is expertise in streaming
large amounts of video through standard PCs. Up to 500 MB per second
of digital video can be streamed in one PC and stored onto disks
internally or to external disk systems. This technology results in
a video server with 4 HDSDI cards, which are used to capture 4000
X 2000 video camera
output. Another
strength is mathematically lossless compression software. Large amounts
of captured video data is compressed by mathematically lossless
compression. This
is a completely reversible compression resulting in bit by bit equivalent
data; thus, reducing the cost of hard disks. Third advantage is that
Zaxel’s RGB server can embed uncompressed quality video of up to HD
size resolution into PowerPoint clipped windows. This is suited for
large projector presentations of high quality video.
