Orochi Stereo Server Now Adds 120P HD/2K Active 3D Play Back

Santa Clara, CA (January 11, 2010) — Zaxel has created a quad-buffered HD/2K active 3D player running at 120 frames per second.

As many HD TV and projectos are capable of playing back at 120 Hz, it is longed for a high quality 3D player that can play back active 3D at 120 frames per second so that highly immersive visual effects can be attained on the screen.

The data rate for such high frame rate with pristine contents is quite high, so it is expensive to build such a server.

However, Zaxel has achieved high frame rate, pristine video quality, and affordable price by using Zaxel's proprietary mathematical lossless compression implemented in GPU.

Orochi uses nVidia Quadro FX 5800 so that affordable active 3D glasses such as Geforce 3D Vision can be used to view stereo easily.

Zaxel has shipped 120P Orochi with 1.5 TB of SSD to Japanese customers.
