System requirements:
The Zaxel S-Video Capture Software can be run on an inexpensive, off-the-shelf PC. Requirements include:

Pentium III microprocessor
Windows 2000 preferable, Windows 98
64 MB main memory

System Capabilities:

The video signal from any video camera can be sent directly to an off-the-shelf PC and written to hard disk
Resulting data is identical to original quality
Up to 2 hours of video can be stored on a standard PC; additional storage and archive options are available
Two video cameras can be streamed to one off-the-shelf PC
Firewire interface

YUV 422
Gray Scale
RGB
.BMP file format for individual frame output

Application Software:
Several Windows applications are available to work with video data from the Zaxel system:

ZWinCap - a video capture program that captures, compresses, and stores to disks in real time
Zzip - a compression type and image type converter
Zshow - a compressed video player
